My experience at Vertu Volkswagen Huddersfield could have been better because the handover process was slow. After funds left my account the dealership would not give me the car because the salesperson I worked with was not working those days. Ideally I would have left with the car same day or within 48hours. It seems unnecessary to wait over a week when every other car I have purchased with other dealerships has been faster and smoother. I planned to leave in the car on my second visit as I had travelled to the dealership some distance by train so it is a shame this wasn’t possible.
I also did not like that I had to ask for fuel to be put in the car despite being charged for this and the car could have been cleaned. I also could not deviate from the pre planned test route whilst test driving which was frustrating. I probably wouldn’t plan to purchase from Vertu again.
